Our candied chestnuts have been made manually and with great care for generations.
How Are Candied Chestnuts Made?
To turn this small fragile fruit into a delicious glazed chestnut, several weeks of preparation are needed. It begins with a careful fruit selection, to make sure that all chestnuts will stay beautiful until their arrival on your table. A very slow cooking will take several hours to prevent the fruit from outbreaking.
And now its time transform fruits into candied chestnuts. Yum! The recipe will take four sugar baths during several days, a true work of patience that our artisans have performed with passion for generations. Because they are made in a very traditional way, candied chestnuts are a delicate sweet that you will want to taste right away. Provided that you won’t eat them all in no time, our glazed chestnuts will maintain their highest quality up to one month after their production.
