This year, ROY chocolatier has prepared a “Tour de France” exceptional and full of beautiful steps that will guide you to the manufacturing sites of the main delicacies you can find in our store.

Departure of the Tour de France of delicacies
Obviously, our “Tour de France” starts with a first step in Île de France for our ganaches, pralines and our famous chocolate Parisian little tiles, to taste without moderation.
Let’s go to the Loire Valley with our home-made jams. All seasonal fruits grow throughout this beautiful area and are delicately associated with sweet flavors such as rose water, Sichuan pepper and other promising and delightful scents.
A short transitional stage, to discover the subtle and delicious Negus of Nevers, imagined in 1896 during an official visit to France by the Emperor of Abyssinia nicknamed “The Negus”. This delicious soft caramel coated with cooked sugar remains the jewel of this new stage.
Let’s cross mountain passes for a tight Mountain step between the “nougats” of Montelimar and marshmallows. Crispy outside and melting inside, these old style marshmallows are made from egg whites, sugar and a little gelatin. They are associated with subtle fruit flavors.
We call these sweets “marshmallows” certainly because they were originally made from marshmallow root and were used for medicinal purposes. But do not worry, our fruit marshmallows sole purpose is to treat your greedy pleasure!
After the Alpine passes, let’s go down to the plain, in Provence, to taste the chocolate coated almonds. Why do we love them so much? Because of the thin layer of almond nougatine that coats them, but also, and this is a secret, because of few herbs from Provence added to the chocolate.
Before going back to Paris, let’s make a short detour to Lorraine to find out how our kirsch cherries are produced. Thoroughly marinated in carefully selected alcohol, they perfectly match with chocolate.

Last step at ROY chocolatier in Paris
There we are, our Tour of France is nearly finished. ROY chocolatier offers a triumphant arrival near the Champs Elysees, at 27 rue de Longchamp, few steps from the unforgettable Eiffel Tower.
Alongside traditional chocolates, in this summer season you will find our tasty macaroons and homemade ice creams.
Special offer to reward our “yellow jersey” readers! All of those who will visit at ROY chocolatier shop, by telling us about our Tour de France of delicacies, will be offered a macaroon with the flavor of their choice. Spread the word!
We wish you a great summer !
